San Francisco Supervisor Eric Mar, who represents District 1 (includes the Richmond District where many RAMS programs are located), invited "local service providers, activists, residents, and homeowners" to hold a community discussion on May 20 about the upcoming budget cuts anticipted for the Fiscal Year 2010-2011. RAMS Chief Executive Officer Kavoos Bassiri, LMFT, CGP was one of the invited speakers at this meeting.
